Hello, Monday

11am. My N70 has been officially “out of service” for 4 hours.

I broke the power switch on this thing back in February, and this morning it has given way again. I am delaying bringing it in for repair for as long as I can (realistically, one more hour), because I am enjoying..no, loving..the (false) quiet. Obviously, no calls or messages will get through as long as this baby’s off, so even for a while I can pretend that the workweek hasn’t begun, that there are no deadlines looming, and that everything has just mercifully..stopped. Including those canned, cloying, feel-good messages that always seem to come in on Mondays.

So. Off I go to get this damned thing fixed.
