I saw Spiderman 2 last weekend with Carlo and Kay
(whose most recent project had her turning the NBC Tent into Venice. How cool is this?). While downloading stuff for work the other day (yeah, yeah) I surfed around to see if I could find That Pretty (wedding) Dress. No luck, but here are other stills. Dedicated to Bianca, who, despite her better judgment, sat through "The Buzz" a few weeks ago to catch the press junket interview with Tobey Maguire.

Loved Spidey 2. Sucker that I am for superhero movies and sappy stuff, I teared up at least three times.

Hope the new Batman movie starring Christian Bale is at least as good in terms of capturing the spirit of the character -- I have yet to see a Batman movie capture the essence of the Dark Knight the way I know him via comic books (and you know I've collected this stuff for close to 20 years!)... :)

Yes, I know how you adore Batman and yes, so far all the films have been disappointments. I think Christian Bale should fare better in the role. Fingers crossed. Maybe they should have Alfonso Cuaron direct it. :) Did you get my email?

Yes, I did get your e-mail. I sent my reply last Friday, looking forward to your response.

Christopher Nolan is directing Christian Bale in "Batman Begins." If his work in Memento and Insomnia provide any indication of the darkness I hope he'll bring into the movie, then it should be promising. Pretty powerful cast as things stand: Michael Caine as Alfred, Gary Oldman as Commissioner Gordon, Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox, Ken Watanabe as Ra's Al Ghul, etc. This is a story of how the young Bruce Wayne finds his feet as a crimefighter and vigilante and dons the cape and cowl for the first time, so I am very excited.

Christopher Nolan directing? And what a good cast. This should be promising then.

I received your email, thanks. Will write soon. :)
